Is it wrong to give up on the U.S.A.?

I'm not a democrat or republican, I can see past their face value differences, they are the same thing in diefferent wrappers, I just don't see America ever being the great country we were in the 1950's, the prosperity is gone and what little wealth we have left we are blowing on useless crap, i'm not saying I hate American, I am just saying america has had its day in the spotlight, our 15 minutes are up and soon it will be China or India who are the next global giants and we will just be an empty rusted shell like Russia is or be a neutered empire like England has become.
