Lost minecraft saves?? help!!?

i was adding a texture pack and all of a sudden my minecraft folder is empty and all of my worlds are gone!! i tried looking in spotlight(i use a mac) for the folder and i found it but i was stupid and didnt copy them over. i cant find the folder again and i am minus one month of the work in my world :((( . . . if anyone knows how to find my folder or recover my saves please help!!
