Why are the bears being written off?

They have an improving QB. Solid running game, a veteran D, and improving O line. I keep hearing about the Lions because they have a good D line and a good QB. But people ignore all of the Lions weaknesses (secondary, running, injury prone, linebacking) while they put a spotlight on the bears one weakness. (O line) Why are they being written off?
